ExpressDeck may be lightweight, but it can support up to 2,960 lbs per 4ft x 4ft deck (185 lbs/sq ft). You'll be amazed that something so light and compact can be so sturdy. ExpressDeck is suitable for indoor and some outdoor applications.

ExpressDeck staging is a completely modular platform system. Standard decks are 4' x4' and can be combined in any configuration with risers of varying heights. Add stairs, guardrails, and skirting to finish your custom stage. With ExpressDeck staging, the possibilities are endless. Order the kit that most closely suits your needs, then add stair kits, extra platforms, risers, guard rails, skirting and travel cases to complete your custom portable stage.

Simple to assemble and connect

ExpressDeck is the easiest modular staging system to assemble, connect, break down, and transport. Simply unfold the risers, line up the locking mechanisms on the riser corners with the corresponding holes on the platform, and lock with the included hex key. Once your platforms are assembled, they connect to each other via hidden locks using the same hex key. Assemble stairs by following the same procedure. Guard rails are easily bolted to platforms and lock to each other for added security. Skirting can be added and removed quickly with the included clips.

Options and Accessories

Complete your ExpressDeck portable staging system with guard rails, steps, skirting, and travel/storage cases. Stages and stairs are sold in kits and a la carte. Schools with theater and music programs may want to order extra risers in different heights for the ultimate verstility. Your ExpressDeck staging system can be a performance stage one day and choral risers the next. Add guard rails for extra safety and skirting for a truly professional look. Flight cases make transportation and storage easy and tidy.

Configuring Your Stage

To configure your stage, first measure your space to insure your stage will fit. Next sketch the layout you desire, including stair placement. Determine how many 4’ x 4’ platforms you need by dividing all of your dimensions by 4. Using Sample Layout 1, the main area of the stage is 16’ x 12’, or 4 platforms x 3 platforms. Working stairs into your design is easy. Simply order this stair kit that matches your stage height. Stair rails are included in Stair Kits. Don't forget to order guard rails, skirting, and flight cases!

Convenient Staging and Stair Kits

The ExpressDeck portable stage system is so simple to assemble, break down, store, and transport that we decided to make the ordering process just as easy. We’ve assembled the bare necessities for the most popular stage sizes. Choose the one that most closely matches your need and add any stairs, guard rails, skirting, and cases you may need, as well as additional platforms and risers (particularly if you will need to change the height of your stage or convert it to tiered choral risers) to create a truly custom staging system.

Choose the kit that best suits your needs and add any additional platforms and risers, stair kits, guard rails, skirting, and cases. Sample Layout 1 would be ordered as Kit #8 (16’x 12’ x 32”) plus two additional platforms and 32” risers and three stair kits for 32” stages. This stage also includes four guard rails, and eleven 32" skirts. This stage will fit in 3 flight cases (guard railsand stair rails do not fit in cases).
